Biography

McGregor at­tend­ed the Un­i­vers­i­ty of Min­ne­so­ta and Yale Di­vi­ni­ty School (DD 1904, MA 1907, PhD 1911). While stu­dy­ing at Yale, he served pas­tor­ates at Con­gre­ga­tion­al church­es in Av­on, Con­nec­ti­cut (1904–07) and Clin­ton, Con­nec­ti­cut (1907–12).

He be­came pas­tor at the First Con­gre­ga­tion­al Church, Nor­walk, Con­nec­ti­cut, in 1912, stay­ing there un­til re­tir­ing in 1944.
