Died: May 11, 1893, France.

Biography

Robert was the son of Me­tho­dist min­is­ter Ro­bert Ste­phens Mc­All and Sar­ah Whi­tak­er.

Originally in­tend­ing to be an ar­chi­tect, he ev­en­tu­al­ly switched to theo­lo­gy, which he stu­died at Lan­ca­shire In­de­pen­dent Col­lege and at Whal­ley Range Col­lege, Man­ches­ter.

He is re­mem­bered as the found­er of the Mis­sion Po­pu­laire Év­an­gé­lique de France (Ev­an­ge­li­cal Po­pu­lar Mis­sion of France).
