Biography

Mason, a min­is­ter, was the hus­band of An­nie Moore.

He was a gra­du­ate of Mar­y­ville Col­lege, Mar­y­ville, Ten­nes­see.

He served pas­tor­ates at the Fort San­ders Pres­by­te­ri­an Church, near Knox­ville, and at the Green­ville Pres­by­ter­ian Church.

He re­turned to Mar­y­ville in 1930 to de­li­ver the bac­ca­laur­e­ate ad­dress at the col­lege’s com­mence­ment ex­er­cis­es, dur­ing which the col­lege award­ed him a doc­tor of let­ters de­gree.
