Biography

Flavius was the son of James Mon­roe Lutz and Am­an­da K. Hu­ber, and hus­band of Grace Liv­ing­ston Hill (mar­ried 1904).

An ac­comp­lished or­gan­ist, he met his wife Grace at Swarth­more Pres­by­te­ri­an Church, where he was min­is­ter of mu­sic. To­ge­ther they found­ed the Swarth­more School of Mu­sic.
