Biography

Luff joined the Bap­tist de­no­mi­na­tion at the Me­tro­po­li­tan Ta­ber­na­cle, Lon­don, in 1866.

His first ef­fort in ver­si­fy­ing was pub­lished in the Bap­tist Mes­sen­ger, Feb­ru­ary 1870.

He wrote ov­er 200 hymns in his life­time.
