Biography

Lloyd taught at the Liv­er­pool Col­lege of Mu­sic (1894–1900), be­came prin­ci­pal of the Li­ver­pool Aca­de­my of Mu­sic in 1901, and was mu­sic ed­it­or for The Free Me­tho­dist (1898–1900).

He played the or­gan at Si­mon’s Par­ish Church (1899); the UMF Church, Grove Street (1890); Bruns­wick Church (1891); St. John’s Wes­ley­an Church, Princ­es Park (1893–95); and Pres­by­te­ri­an church­es in Can­ning Street (1897) and Sef­ton Park (1903–34).
