Biography

Lloyd’s works be­gan to ap­pear in print around 1855.

An 1875 pub­li­ca­tion stat­ed he was a pro­fess­or of vo­cal mu­sic in Cham­paign, Il­li­nois. We spe­cu­late he might be Da­vid Hay­den Lloyde (1835–1922), who is bur­ied at the Mount Hope Ce­me­te­ry and Mau­so­le­u­m in Cham­paign.
