Biography

John was the son of John Da­ni­el Lib­bey and Mary Lou­isa Shawe.

At one time he was Prin­ci­pal of the Mo­ra­vi­an Col­lege at Fair­field, Droyls­den, Lan­ca­shire, En­gland. In 1906, he was min­is­ter of the Mo­ra­vi­an church in Fair­field.

He is re­mem­bered as an his­tor­i­an of the Mo­ra­vi­an de­nom­i­na­tion.
