Biography

Henry was the son of Sam­uel Le­on­ard and Cyn­thia Clag­gett. He mar­ried twice, to Anne Clag­gett and Adel­ia A. Nor­wood.

Leonard served as a chap­lain of the 3rd Maine Re­gi­ment dur­ing the Am­eri­can ci­vil war.

At the time of his death, he was pas­tor of a Uni­vers­al­ist Church in An­nis­quam, Mas­sa­chu­setts.
