Died: June 3, 2015, prob­ab­ly in or near San Fran­cis­co, Ca­li­for­nia.

Biography

Leech grew up in Hud­ders­field, York­shire, but at age 18 his fa­mi­ly re­turned to Es­sex, mov­ing to Frin­ton-on-Sea.

He served in the Na­vy, then stu­died at the Lon­don Bi­ble Col­lege, Bar­ring­ton Col­lege and North Park Se­mi­na­ry, Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois.

Ordained a min­is­ter in the Ev­an­ge­li­cal Co­ve­nant Church (ECC), he served pas­tor­ates in Bos­ton, Mas­sa­chu­setts; Mont­clair, New Jer­sey; San Fran­cis­co, Ca­li­for­nia; and at the Mon­te­ci­to Co­ve­nant Church, San­ta Bar­ba­ra, Ca­li­for­nia (1968–75).

He al­so served on the ECC’s Hym­nal Com­mis­sion.
