Born: Oc­to­ber 3, 1700, Lie­gnitz, Si­le­sia (now Leg­ni­ca, Po­land).

Died: Sep­tem­ber 7, 1779, Ba­ruth, Bran­den­burg.

Biography

Johann was the hus­band of Fried­er­ike Ju­li­ane Haus­herr.

He stu­died theo­lo­gy at the Uni­ver­si­ties of Je­na, Wit­ten­berg, and Leip­zig.

In 1730, he was ap­point­ed pas­tor at Pöl­zig and Bröck­au by Count Hen­kel von Don­ners­mark.

In 1737, he be­came chief pas­tor at Lö­wen, Si­le­sia (now Le­win Brzes­ki, Po­land), and in 1743 pas­tor and su­per­in­tend­ent at Ba­ruth.
