Biography

Homer was the son of Da­vid Clin­ton Kellems and Lou­isa Am­an­da Flint, and hus­band of Ruth Faye Fink­bein­er.

Homer and his bro­ther, Jes­se R. Kell­ems, were known as the Sun­shine Ev­an­gel­ists (they were living in Sun­shine, Wash­ing­ton, in 1917).

Homer and Jes­se gra­du­at­ed from the State Uni­ver­si­ty of Or­egon and Eu­gene Bi­ble Uni­ver­si­ty, and af­ter­ward at­tend­ed Co­lumbia Uni­ver­si­ty, New York Ci­ty.
