Biography

Joseph was the son of Will­iam Har­ris­on Kea­gle and Han­nah E. Spring­er, and hus­band of Ra­chel G. Gra­ham (mar­ried 1888).

A teach­er and min­is­ter, he was con­duct­ing fun­er­als in Na­per­ville by 1884.

In 1898, Kea­gle ran un­suc­cess­ful­ly for Con­gress from the Ninth Dis­trict of Il­li­nois as a Pro­hi­bi­tion­ist can­di­date.

In 1919, he was serv­ing as pas­tor of Grace Unit­ed Ev­an­ge­li­cal Church in Na­per­ville.
