Biography

Catherine was the daugh­ter of John Her­ring Har­den­bergh and Hes­ter V. Al­len, and wife of Pres­by­ter­ian min­is­ter Her­rick John­son.

At the time of her death, her hus­band was the old­est mem­ber of the fa­cul­ty of Mc­Cor­mick Theo­lo­gic­al Se­mi­na­ry, Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois, and one of the old­est Pres­by­ter­ian min­is­ters in Il­li­nois.
