Biography

Jaques-Dal­croze was a Swiss com­pos­er, mu­si­cian and mu­sic ed­u­cat­or who de­vel­oped Dal­croze Eu­rhyth­mics, an ap­proach to learn­ing and ex­per­ienc­ing mu­sic through mov­ement.

Dalcroze Eu­rhyth­mics in­flu­enced Carl Orff’s pe­da­go­gy, used in mu­sic edu­ca­tion through­out Am­er­ica.
