Biography

Jabusch was ed­u­cate­d at St. Ma­ry of the Lake Se­mi­na­ry, Mun­de­lein, Il­li­nois (BA, STB, MA); Loy­o­la Uni­ver­si­ty, Chi­ca­go; and North­west­ern Uni­ver­si­ty, Ev­an­ston, Il­li­nois (PhD 1968). He al­so stu­died mu­sic at the Chi­ca­go Con­ser­va­to­ry of Mu­sic and the Uni­ver­si­ty of Lon­don.

He was par­ish priest for St. James Ca­tho­lic Church, Chi­ca­go (1956–61), and taught at Quig­ley Pre­pa­ra­to­ry School, Chi­ca­go (1961–63); Niles Col­lege, Loy­o­la Uni­ver­si­ty (1963–66); and St. Ma­ry of the Lake Se­mi­na­ry (1968).
