Biography

Ludwig was the hus­band of Ka­the­rine Suc­cop.

Ilse at­tend­ed the Lu­ther­an Mis­sou­ri Sy­nod teach­ers col­lege in Ad­di­son, Il­li­nois, and taught and played the or­gan at church­es in Pitts­burgh, Penn­syl­van­ia; Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois; Brook­lyn, New York; and Bed­ford, Ohio.

Works

He wrote se­ver­al cho­ral and or­gan books, and served as mu­sic ed­it­or for the 1912 Ev­an­ge­li­cal Lu­ther­an Hymn-Book.
