Husband attended St. Aidan’s College, Birkenhead (school closed in 1970), and ordained an Anglican priest in 1866. He served in Atherton (1866–72) and at St. Michael’s and All Angels, Folkestone, and played the organ and lectured on church music. His works in­clude:
