Biography

Eugene was the son of Sam­uel Jud­son Hall and Ev­a­line Par­me­la Thay­er. He mar­ried twice, to Ma­ry M. Ret­ter (1874) and Ber­tha Im­o­gene Mitch­ell (1912).

He was known as a pho­to­gra-pher, ed­it­or, pub­lish­er, and lec­tur­er.
