Biography

Emil was the son of Gus­tav Ols­son and Ka­ro­li­na An­ders­dot­ter. He ne­ver mar­ried.

A Lu­ther­an, he at­tend­ed ag­ri­cul­tu­ral schools at Skepps­holm­en and Lind­sta, Swe­den, but had to give up his stu­dies due to poor health.

By age 16, he was ac­tive as a Sun­day school teach­er and ev­an­gel­ist in the Hel­gel­se­för­bun­det (Sanc­ti­fi­ca­tion As­so­ci­at­ion)
