Griffeth’s hymns were pub­lished in Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois, in the 1880s and 1890s.

We sp­ecu­late he might be min­is­ter Ben­ja­min F. Grif­feth (?–1936), who is bur­ied in Wash­ing­ton Mo­nu­ment­al Ce­me­te­ry, South Riv­er, New Jer­sey.
