Biography

Mabel was the daugh­ter of Ja­cob Frank­lin Gohl and Mar­ga­ret Guin­ter.

She played the or­gan at the Pine Street Me­tho­dist Church in Will­iams­port, Penn­syl­van­ia, 1903–55.

She al­so gave pri­vate mu­sic les­sons and taught at the Will­iams­port Dick­in­son Sem­in­ary (now Ly­com­ing Col­lege) be­fore join­ing the mu­sic de­part­ment of the D. S. An­drus Com­pa­ny, re­tir­ing in 1968.
