Geer may have used the pseu­do­nym L. J. B (or it may have been the in­i­tials of her maid­en name). Are You Rea­dy for His Com­ing cred­it­ed L. J. B. as the au­thor when it was pub­lished in 1895. Geer’s name ap­pears as the au­thor in a 1907 edi­tion.
