Biography

Stanton was the son of Hor­ace Ev­er­ett Ga­vitt and Oli­via Re­bec­ca Dick­ey, and hus­band of Eli­za­beth Bro­man (mar­ried 1943).

A min­is­ter, he was liv­ing in West­er­ly, Rhode Is­land, in 1940, and in Port­land, Maine, in 1950.
