Biography

Jewel was the daugh­ter of James Har­vey Camp and Ka­ther­ine A. Holm, and wife of Tho­mas R. Fretz (mar­ried 1896).

They were liv­ing in Cham­paign Coun­ty, Illinois, in 1910 (her hus­band, pos­si­bly de­ceased, was not with them).

In 1920, Jew­ell was liv­ing alone in Knox Coun­ty, Ten­nes­see. By 1930, she was in back in Cham­paign Coun­ty, Il­li­nois.
