Biography

A build­er by trade, Fos­ter was a self taught mu­si­cian. For some time he was hon­or­ary or­gan­ist of the Bris­tol Ta­ber­na­cle.

Works

He helped com­pile and ed­it Waite’s Hal­le­lu­jah in 1842, and com­posed ma­ny hymns and tunes.
