Biography

Lycurgus was the son of Jes­se Ford and Ma­ry Pow­ell, and hus­band of Av­is Ma­bel Wood­in (mar­ried 1885, Sum­mit Coun­ty, Ohio).

He was liv­ing in Li­ber­ty Town­ship, Han­cock Coun­ty, Ohio, in 1860. By 1900, he was in Phi­la­del­phia, Penn­syl­van­ia.

He seems to have been a math­e­ma­tics teacher.
