Biography

Floria graduated with a ba­che­lor’s de­gree from North­west­ern Col­lege (now the Uni­vers­ity of North­west­ern – St. Paul).

He was the found­er and orig­in­al pre­si­dent of The Con­ti­nent­al Sing­ers. Ini­tial­ly called The Orig­in­als in 1963, the group be­came Con­ti­nent­al Sing­ers, Inc., in 1967, with Flor­ia and Ralph Car­mi­ch­ael as found­ers. The group le­gal­ly dis­solved in 2011.

As of 2026, Floria was liv­ing in Ko­loa, Ha­wa­ii.
