Frederick was the son of Disciples of Christ minister Augustus Damon Fillmore and Hannah Maria Lockwood, and brother of James and Charles Fillmore.
Fillmore and his brothers founded the Fillmore Brothers Music House in Cincinnati, Ohio. He had a wonderful voice, and as an effective Gospel singer was unsurpassed in his day. Frederick’s works include:
