Biography

Evridge was a fre­quent song lead­er for Gos­pel meet­ings in the Church­es of Christ.

He worked with James Acuff on the first Firm Foun­da­tion hym­nal, and re­turned for the 1930 New Ideal Gos­pel Hymn Book, a ma­jor step­ping stone to­ward a full-size hym­nal.
