Mary was the daughter of Joseph Edgar and Mary Little. She attended Havergal College, the University of Ontario, and the National Training School of the Young Women’s Christian Association in New York City. From 1922–56, she ran a girls’ camp called Glen Bernard, on Lake Bernard, near Sundridge. Her works include:
