Biography

Düben was an or­gan­ist and com­pos­er.

In 1663, he suc­ceed­ed his Ger­man-born fa­ther An­dre­as Dü­ben as both hov­ka­pell­mäs­ta­re, di­rect­or of the Roy­al Swed­ish Court Or­ches­tra, and or­gan­ist of the Ger­man St. Ger­trud Church in Stock­holm.
