Biography

Almeda was the daugh­ter of John Ad­dis Wight and Eu­nice Jane Kin­ner, and wife of den­tist Will­is E. Dris­coll, of Ma­na­tee, Flo­ri­da (mar­ried Ju­ly 4, 1902, Wind­sor, On­ta­rio, Ca­na­da).

She was raised in Sa­gi­naw, and moved to Wi­chi­ta, Kan­sas, with her par­ents when she was a young adult. Her po­et­ry ap­peared in the Ma­na­tee Ri­ver Jour­nal.
