In 1917, Dresch and R. H. Hall, a for­mer mis­sion­a­ry in Hon­dur­as, be­gan evan­gel­iz­ing Span­ish-speak­ing peo­ple in rur­al com­mun­i­ties from Mi­chi­gan to New Mex­i­co and Tex­as. In 1918, they start­ed miss­ion work in San An­ton­io, Tex­as.
