Daugh­ter of Hen­ry Cam­bridge, Ada mar­ried George Fred­er­ick Cross in 1869 (he took Ho­ly Or­ders in 1870 as a cur­ate in Eng­land; af­ter var­i­ous cur­a­cies in Aus­tral­ia, he be­came In­cum­bent of Col­er­aine, di­o­cese of Ball­a­rat, in 1877). Ada’s works in­clude:
