The 1897 annual report of the Methodist Episcopal Woman’s Home Missionary Society lists Criss as the corresponding secretary of the society’s St. Louis [Missouri] Conference. Copyright records indicate she was living in Sedalia, Missouri, in 1916. Her husband was Curtis Vance Criss, pastor of Grace Church, Springfield. Her works include:
