Biography

Silas was the son of Hous­ton La­fay­ette Cox and Nan­cy Ann Wal­ker, and hus­band of Eth­el Ed­na Cox (mar­ried Sep­tem­ber 18, 1910, Fawn, Okla­ho­ma Coun­ty, Ok­la­ho­ma).

He was a mem­ber of the Church­es of Christ, and preached oc­ca­sion­al­ly.
