Biography

Rebecca was the daugh­ter of writ­er Ri­chard T. Fos­ter of HM Dock­yard, Cha­tham, and wife of Mark Couch of the Roy­al En­gin­eers (mar­ried 1875).

The Couch­es lived on Cross Street, New Bromp­ton, Kent, and on Al­ba­ny Ter­race, Gill­ing­ham, Kent.
