Biography

John was the son of Da­ni­el Col­gan and Chris­ti­na Ann Hal­ler, and hus­band of Ca­ther­ine Boyers (mar­ried 1859).

A Me­tho­dist Epis­co­pal min­is­ter in the Cen­tral Ohio Con­fer­ence, he served 38 years, and was an able and suc­cess­ful ex­po­si­tor of Scrip­ture.

In 1892, he was liv­ing in Pio­neer, Ohio.
