Biography

Clemm was the son of Will­iam D. T. Clemm and Elizabeth A. Bow­man; ne­phew of Me­tho­dist Epis­co­pal bi­shop Tho­mas Bow­man; and cou­sin to Vir­gin­ia Eli­za Clemm, wife of writ­er Edg­ar All­an Poe.

He spent most of his life in Key­ser, West Vir­gin­ia,
