Biography

Clark was ed­u­cat­ed at the gram­mar school in Ches­ter­field and at St. John’s Col­lege, Cam­bridge, where he gra­du­at­ed in 1861.

On tak­ing Ho­ly Or­ders, he be­came cur­ate of Bar­mby Moor and Fang­foss. Af­ter work­ing var­i­ous par­ish­es, he be­came, in 1870, vi­car of West Dere­ham, Nor­folk.
