Died: Oc­to­ber 17, 1849, Pa­ris, France.

Buried: Koś­ci­ół Świę­te­go Krzy­ża (Ho­ly Cross Church), War­saw, Po­land.

Biography

Frédéric was the son of Ni­co­las Cho­pin, a French­man from Lor­raine, and Tek­la Jus­ty­na Krzy­ża­now­ska.

He was one of the best known com­pos­ers of the 19th Cen­tu­ry.
