Cheaney at­tend­ed Bay­lor Wo­men’s Col­lege, in Bel­ton, Tex­as. Her mar­ried name was Mul­lins.

We spe­cu­late she may be Wi­ni­fred Ame­lia Chea­ney Mull­ins (1869–1952), who is bur­ied in Rest­land Me­mo­ri­al Park, Dall­as, Tex­as.
