Buried: Friends (Quak­er) Meet­ing House, Sib­ford Gow­er, Ox­ford­shire, Eng­land.

Biography

Laura was the daugh­ter of civ­il en­gin­eer Fran­cis Will­iam Dib­bin (1811–1874) and So­phia Or­mis­ton; and wife of Tho­mas Chant, of Bridge­wa­ter, MRCS (Mem­ber of the Roy­al Col­lege of Sur­geons), Li­cence of the So­ci­ety of Apo­the­car­ies (LSA), (mar­ried 1877).

She was a Sis­ter of the So­phia Wards in the Lon­don Hos­pi­tal, and a lec­tur­er on li­ter­ary and so­cial sub­jects.
