Died: March 6, 1933, at the home of his aunt, Mrs. Abner Shiveley, Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania.
Buried: Mifflinburg Cemetery, Mifflinburg Pennsylvania.
Isaiah was the son of William W. Chambers and Eva C. Mench. He married twice, to Annie Weaver and Louise Ebersole Reynolds.
He studied for three years at Dickinson Seminary, four years at Lafayette, and three years at the Theological College
in New York.
Ordained a Presbyterian minister, his first pastorate was in Merchantville, New Jersey, where he stayed 27 years.
He moved from Merchantville to Lewes, Delaware, where he preached several years before resigning due to ill health. He then moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later to Palmyra, New Jersey.
