Died: Feb­ru­ary 6, 1841, Al­phing­ton (near Exe­ter), Eng­land.

Biography

Margaret was the daugh­ter of John Malc­olm, G.C.B., and wife of Al­ex­an­der Tho­mas Cock­burn-Camp­bell, one of the found­ers of the Ply­mouth Breth­ren in Eng­land (mar­ried 1827).

Her hymns were print­ed in li­tho­graph form from her ma­nu­script for pri­vate cir­cu­lat­ion. Some of these were pub­lished post­hu­mous­ly in the Ply­mouth Breth­ren’s Psalms and Hymns (Lon­don: Wal­ter, 1842).
