Biography

Henry was the son of James Buck­oll, rec­tor of Sid­ding­ton.

He was edu­cat­ed at Rug­by and Queen’s Col­lege, Ox­ford (BA 1826).

He be­came as­sist­ant mas­ter at Rug­by in 1826, and took Ho­ly Or­ders in 1827.
