Son of James Buck­oll, Rec­tor of Sid­ding­ton, Hen­ry was ed­u­cat­ed at Rug­by and Queen’s Coll­ege, Ox­ford, (BA 1826). He be­came as­sist­ant mas­ter at Rug­by in 1826, and took Ho­ly Or­ders in 1827. His works in­clude:
