Introduction

Biography

Bartholomew was the son of John Brown and Gin­ger Hut­chin­son, and hus­band of Bet­sey La­zell (mar­ried 26 Nov 1801, Bridge­wa­ter, Mas­sa­chu­setts).

He grew up in Ster­ling, Mas­sa­chu­setts, and gra­du­at­ed from Har­vard Col­lege.
