Biography

Julius was the young­est son of wool­en mer­chant John New­som Brigg and Sar­ah Maude, and hus­band of Cha­rlotte Man­sie.

He en­tered the Wes­ley­an min­is­try in 1864, and was af­ter­ward en­gaged in cir­cuit work. At one time he lived in Hawes, York­shire.
